Professor S. Olyaee was born in Mashhad, Iran, on 31 December 1974. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from University of Mazandaran, Babol, Iran, in 1997 and the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering specializing in optoelectronics from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran, in 1999 and 2007, respectively. His doctoral dissertation concerned nanometric displacement measurement based on three-longitudinal-mode laser. He has established the Nano-photonics and Optoelectronics Research Laboratory (NORLab), in 2006 and currently, he is the head of NORLab and Director of the Presidential Office in Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University (SRTTU), Tehran, Iran. He has some other activities such as Vice-President for Research and Technology, Dean of Electrical and Computer Faculty, head of Power Engineering Department, and head of Control and Instrumentation Department. Prof. Olyaee presented and published more than 240 scientific conference and journal papers, books, and book chapters, such as Elsevier book chapter and currently he is Senior Member of IEEE, member of OSA, and Responsible Director and editorial board member of Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering Innovations (JECEI) and editorial member and scientific committee of several national and international journals and conferences. Prof. Olyaee's main research interests include laser displacement measurement, nano-metrology, optical instrumentation and photonic crystal fibers and sensors.

Professor R. Ebrahimpour is a professor at the Institute for Convergence Science and Technology, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. Dr. M. Safkhani finished her PhD on April 2012, in school of Electrical Engineering of Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) where she did her MSc. and BSc. Her research interests are in the field of protocols design, primitives design, lightweight cryptography, cryptanalysis etc.
She is currently working as an associate professor at Computer Engineering Department, Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University, Tehran, Iran. Nowadays, beside previous research activities, she is working on the field of security protocols of telecommunications and the Internet of Things, symmetric cryptography primitives, and Searchable Encryption schemes. She is the author/ co-author of over 50 technical articles in information security and cryptology in major international journals and conferences.

Professor J. Nouri is an Emeritus Professor of the Department of Environmental Health Engineering at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He has obtained his BSc degree in biology from University of Tehran in 1971 and his MSc and PhD degrees in Environmental Science from University of London in 1978 and 1980. His major research interests are in environmental science and management areas such as environmental impact assessment, heavy metals pollution as well as dealing with environmental issues at industrial and urban studies. He has been appointed as an international advisor to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) for assessment and evaluation of scientific journals and also, as a member of the Basic Science Publishing Working group of the Ministry during 2017 - 2022. He has also operated nationwide conferences and workshops on academic publishing and related issues and challenges. He is now working on standardization of 30 selected English journals belonged to MSRT in order to promote them to the Web of Science indexing. He has been served as the Dean of the Graduate School of the Environment and Energy of the Science and Research Branch of the Islamic Azad University during 2014-15. He carries more than 35 years of environmental research and teaching experiences encompassing a variety of environmental science and management areas. He has published 14 scientific books and more than 170 articles in related subjects at international journals. He is as a founder and acted as the Editor in Chief of an ISI/ Web of Science journal of “International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology (IJEST)” for 10 years. Moreover, he has been the Co-Editor of “Iranian Journal of Environmental Health, Science and Engineering (IJEHSE)”. He is currently serving as the founder, publisher and the Editor in Chief of a new Web of Science and Scopus indexed journal called “Global Journal of Environmental Science and Management (GJESM)”.

Professor M. Mirsalim currently works at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Amirkabir University of Technology. In addition to design, analysis, and prototyping electrical machines of all kinds for various applications such as hybrid and electric vehicles, renewable energy, wireless power transfer, his current project is 'Control of Modern Smart Microgrids. He served as the general director in charge of academic assessment for 7 years, 5 years as the associate chair in charge of education, and currently is the director of the electrical machines and transformer research laboratory (EMTRL). He has co-authored more than 200 technical papers and holds 14 national patents, two of those pending as US patents. Mirsalim is an Associate Editor of the Iranian Journal of Science and Technology.

Professor F. Dornaika received the M.S. degree in signal, image, and speech processing and the Ph.D. degree in computer science, both from the Grenoble Institute of Technology, Grenoble, France, in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He is currently a Research Professor at Ikerbasque, Basque Foundation for Science, Bilbao, Spain, and the University of the Basque Country, San Sebastian, Spain. Granpayeh (M’08–SM’15) received the B.Sc. degree from Telecommunication College in 1975, the M.Sc. degree from the Radio and Television College, Tehran, Iran, in 1980, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of NSW, Sydney, Australia, in 1996, all in telecommunication engineering.,In 1975, as an honor graduate of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, K. His research interests are in optical devices, equipment, and materials, optical fibers, and optical fiber effects. Professor N. Bagheri received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran, in 2002 and 2010, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University, Tehran. He is also a part-time Researcher with the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences. He is the author of more than 100 articles in information security and cryptology. His research interests include cryptology, more precisely, designing and analysis of symmetric schemes, such as lightweight ciphers, e.g., block ciphers, hash functions, and authenticated encryption schemes, cryptographic protocols for constrained environment, such as RFID tags and the IoT edge devices, and hardware security, e.g., the security of symmetric schemes against side-channel attacks, such as fault injection and power analysis.

Dr. K. Avanaki is currently an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Prior to this position, he was an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering Department at Wayne State University. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Kent, United Kingdom with an Outstanding Achievement Honor in Medical Optical Imaging and Computing in 2012. His areas of expertise are design and development of photoacoustic imaging technology and optical coherence tomography for biomedical applications to solve critical problems in brain and skin imaging. As principle investigator, he has received multiple research grants/ fellowships including NIH R01 Bioengineering Research Grants (BRG), NIH R01 BRAIN Initiative: Proof of Concept Development of Early Stage Next Generation Human Brain Imaging, and Melanoma Research Alliance Grant. He has received several other awards including Michigan Translational Research and Commercialization (MTRAC), American Cancer Society Seed Award, The Tech Transfer Talent Network (T3N) Award, Michigan Children’s Hospital Foundation Award, Entrepreneurship and the Anderson Institute Award, Richard Barber Interdisciplinary Research Award, Albert and Goldye J. Nelson Award, and Dean’s Diversity Fellowship. He has published in numerous high-level journals such as, PNAS, Cancer Research, IEEE Transaction of Biomedical Imaging, Photoacoustics, Journal of Biomedical Optics, Optics Letters, Applied Optics, and IEEE Journals including more than 80 first authored/ senior authored peer-reviewed articles. His Google Scholar citation is over 2000 with an h-index of 23. In addition to serving on the technical program committees for SPIE PW, IEEE ICIP, ICACCI and MICCAI conferences, he has delivered 46 keynotes, plenary, or invited talks, and presented papers at several conferences across the globe, such as IEEE Photonics, MICCAI, MIUA, MVIP, as well as SPIE Photonics West. He is an associate editor of Applied Optics Journal and Frontiers in Neuroscience. He is also an active reviewer of 20 journals including PNAS, PLOS ONE, Cancer Research, Nature Scientific Report, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, MICCAI, Journal of Biomedical Optics, Optics Letters, and Optics Express. He has mentored /co-mentored more than 30 graduate students and has been awarded the Outstanding Faculty Award three times (in 2016, 2017, and 2019) at Wayne State University. He also received the Research Excellence Award and Excellence in Teaching Award in 2019 from the Engineering School at Wayne State University.

Dr. S. Shirvani Moghaddamwas born in Khorrama- bad, Iran, in 1969. He received his BSc and MSc degrees, both in Electrical Engineering, in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He also received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2001. Since 2003, he has been with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University (SRTTU), Tehran, Iran. Currently, he is an associate professor of SRTTU and a Senior Member of the IEEE. Dr. P. Naderi was born in Ahvaz, Iran, in 1975. He received his B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering in 1998 and M.S. degree in Power Engineering from Chamran University, Iran, Ahvaz in 2001. He has a Ph.D. degree in Power Engineering Science from K.N. Toosi University, Tehran, Iran. His interests are electrical machine modeling and fault diagnosis and also power system transient. He is currently an associate professor in the Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University of Tehran, Iran.
